American Blues Theater Community Service

COMMUNITY SERVICE

This is where we bring heart to the art! We believe it is an honor and duty to serve our community. We raise awareness of other non-profits through creative partnerships. We hold food & clothing drives, distribute promotional materials, offer free discussions through “Blues Views”, provide complimentary tickets, honor military and frontline personnel, hold performances for underserved communities, perform at children’s hospitals & assisted-living residences, collect donations for Season of Concern, and raise awareness for children’s surgeries. We donate proceed from our “Pediatric Previews” to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

We offer continuing education classes for all ages and a free arts education program The Lincoln Project in Chicago Public Schools.
