ABOUT DENNIS
Received his M.A. in Theatre (Acting/Directing emphasis) from Eastern Michigan University before beginning his career in Chicago. In his first show he received a Joseph Jefferson Citation for the role of Guildenstern in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, by Tom Stoppard at the Court Theatre. He joined Actors’ Equity Association with his second show, Hard Feelings, by Jeffrey Sweet at Victory Gardens Theater. Other V.G. credits include, The Fifth Sun, by Nicholas Patricca; The God of Isaac and Mr. 80%, both by James Sherman; and The Stick Wife, by Darrah Cloud. At Northlight he was seen in What the Butler Saw, by Joe Orton; and Talking to Myself, adapted and directed by Paul Sills from Studs Terkel’s memoir. At National Jewish Theatre he appeared in Minnie’s Boys and I Can Get It For You Wholesale. BROADWAY: Frost/Nixon, by Peter Morgan.
