LIZ & NILKO is the NYC-based “Latin Americana” duo comprised of award-winning multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Liz Chidester (American Blues Ensemble Member, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story; Lizzie) and internationally acclaimed classical guitarist actor and singer Nilko Andreas. (Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha; Amazonas Series at Carnegie Hall). By blending and celebrating the diverse musical traditions of their heritages, ranging from the Appalachian to the Andes Mountains, their harmonious collaboration aims to contribute to the cultural tapestry and healing of the Americas. They have showcased their music at various festivals across the United States, including the Folk Alliance International Festival in Kansas City, NJ Uke Fest, and the Lavender Festival in Charlottesville, VA, among others.
